This can be made in the oven (in which case it takes about 3 hours) or in a crock pot (in which case it takes about 13 hours). It's just a basic pot roast recipe without the onions all the cookbooks seem to think are necessary to just about anything.
Some of the amounts are approximate. The flour is the amount used to cover the meat, and the water is enough to fill the skillet.
This is a quick recipe my roommate came up with. I usually serve it with a baked potato or yam.
