These are NOT low fat but they are decadent and worth every calorie. It's a indulgence every once in a while. Love Mad Hungry recipes!!!
These are great baked in the oven too. I like the smokey flavor that the grill imparts.
This recipe is from Everyday Food Magazine. The only liberty I took with the recipe was to add 1 clove of minced garlic. Even after having sat in the fridge overnight, the salad was still crunchy.
I saw Lucinda Scala Quinn make this recipe on "Mad Hungry" and I had to try it. It is very light and very yummy! Very good with a pineapple jam
We had a soup similar to this at a wedding and I experimented and came up with this. I used a combo of chicken stock and then chicken soup base because it is what I had in the cupboard. You can use any combination that you want of vegetables and broths. I love the thick tomato broth that this soup creates. I hope you enjoy!! I makes a huge pot!!
When I first read this recipe in "Penzey's Spice" catalog I thought the strawberry was an odd choice. But after I made the first loaf, I was hooked!! I altered it a little to make is lower fat and higher fiber.
My mom found this recipe in a local newspaper & we have been making it for years. It is also great with dried cherries.
I made these in the large muffin tins but you can use regular size muffin pans as well. This recipe is based on the 6 larger size. These are good reheated for breakfast even the day after.
I changed another recipe around to use up things I had in the fridge. I liked how this turned out. These were good re-heated the next morning also.
I love granola but don't like the grocery store price. I found this recipe a few years ago and lightened it up using Brown Sugar Splenda. Makes a pretty large amount.
I love the chili flavor or the Penzey's Turkish Seasoning. You could substitute your own chili seasoning but the fresh cilantro at the end adds a fresh pop.
