Vanilla Pudding granola crust, 1% milk and berries
Known in the American North East as American Chop Suey and in New York as "Goulash", this is a regional favorite of home chefs and lunch ladies. This ratio of beef to pasta makes it actually reasonably low carb, exactly meeting the 30/40/30 ratio of the Zone Diet.
A Charleston, SC favorite. Makes 7 dozen wafers (84). Calorie count is for one wafer.
Depending on how creative you get with the spices, this dish could be considered Italian, Provençal or North African.
