I love cole slaw, but my husband hates even a drop of mayonnaise. I found this recipe in Sunset Magazine to satisfy both of us. It's become one of our barbeque staples.
This recipe is modified from Hungry Girl's e-mail. I omitted the chicken, changed some amounts so as not to be left with 1/2 cans of ingredients and added some spice. Enjoy!
You can use any kind of nectar or soda flavor in this (diet ginger ale makes a nice flavor). This recipe takes about 24 hours to make.

My husband LOVES meaty tomato sauce. This is the closest to a vegetarian I can get him to eat. Servie with whole wheat or multigrain pasta (not included in calorie counts)

I've been trying to eliminate meat from a couple of dinners a week. My husband is adamantly resistant. This recipe is a compromise - it only has a little meat....but it's bacon!!
Serve 1/4 of this recipe over 1/2 cup pasta. Delicious!

This tasty high fiber bean salad is a huge hit at our house. In only takes a few minutes to make and one bowl lasts through several meals. Serving size = 1 cup.
