This is a great soup that is made entirely of canned food. It is great to keep these supplies in the pantry
broccoli, craisins, and salty sunflower seeds. Delicious. Orginal recipe had bacon, but I don't think you miss it when you add SALTED sunflower seeds

From the Frugal Gourmet, Jeff Smith circa 1990's. Makes a big batch of batter that can sit in the fridge for up to 6 weeks. In the morning pop a pan full in the oven for 30 mins.
This is a Pakistani recipe that is a spicy curry. This dish is best served with basmati rice, chapattis or naan bread I have modified the original recipe to remove the ghee, added many more onions (love onions!). The onions were supposed to be grated. I slice or dice them to make it easier.
This stew is perfect year-round, although it's most appreciated on a cold winter night!
