I found an absolutely scrumptious looking Mac and Cheese recipe in a cookbook that I took and made into a low fat, high protein version made with whole grain pasta.
My husband said it was excellant before I told him what was in it, then was amazed at it being actually healthy for him!
Original recipe:485 calories, 29 g fat
My version: 307 calories, 9.7 g fat, 16.7 protein
served with a side of sauteed kale and topped with a few carmelized onions for delicious meal!
a delicious black bean, corn and black eyed peas appetizer that is easy to make, no fat and makes a ton for a crowd
add a jalapenos for more of a spicy kick
An Healtier option for those pizza nights without all the calories!
found this recipe on All recipes and thought it was interesting it was made with cool whip. I used fully loaded ingredients for first time making it, next time I'll use the lower fat content to see if can make it lower in calories
