Yummy! I am writing a pretty mild version of this. Feel free to add MORE garlic, basil, etc, etc!
I needed some marinara sauce for a recipe, but I didn't have any. I didn't even have tomato paste! I had no time and an empty pantry. This is what I threw together, and it actually is pretty tasty! :) Very low sodium! This makes a chunky sauce. If you want it thinner, use an immersion blender or regular blender to thin the texture (or just use tomato puree, of course - I didn't have any lol!)
With left over cooked pasta (small or medium shells), this comes together with practically no effort! I have this as 1 serving, and that is one BIIIIIGGGGGG serving. Could serve 2 if you are having something with it. I ate it before I could take a pic... oops, sorry! LOL!
This is a Wonderful recipe that was inspired by a fish taco recipe in Eating Well magazine. This is probably awesome in a fish taco, but I didn't have everything I needed for that, so ate it as it is. One day I may try it in a taco, for now, I'm hooked on this!
Yummy Snack!!! For under 120 calories and full of flavor! Worth the few minutes it takes to cook it :)
on a really weird note, this actually makes a great filling to a sandwich with some low-fat mayo. Sound weird, tastes good!
This is a go to snack for me. 3 ingredients, it couldn't be easier or faster! Fruit plus calcium, a little protein, plus sweeeeeetness = YUM!
very simple. I like that the natural flavors come through. I guess I like simple foods. :)
Holy COW this is good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Spend the money for SMOKED paprika for this one. Really, do it :) If you are using already salted pecan 1/2s (like I did) definitely 1/2 the salt in that step.

Getting through all of the delicious sounding recipes is a daunting task indeed! I think I'm up to it though! I haven't made these dishes yet, I am saving them so I can! I will rate them as I try them and (hopefully) move them to the Recipes I Liked cookbook. Thanks for all of the inspiration!

I am looking for low cal soups to go WITH my lunch (not AS my lunch) to give me a little more nutrition and/or that "comfort" feeling that soup always seems to bring. These are all un-tried as of yet. If I have commented on them (or posted them), I have tried them.
