A recipe I threw together by combining a pumpkin pancake recipe with a protein pancake recipe. I use oat flour, which I buy at the whole foods store but can be made by grinding whole oats in a coffee mill.
These pancakes get a nice crispy edge and have a fluffy texture, but are hearty and provide 26 grams of protein in a serving!
A clean, sugar free cream cheese 'frosting' for pumpkin or carrot bars/cake.
Just substituting half applesauce for oil, needed to make the calculation
I took some recipes for crust and adjusted them to make one crust, and my knowledge of French pastries and know-how in making recipes healthier to make this the best dessert I could!
I got this recipe from a magazine...I don't recall which one. But I made up a batch and they were too fabulous not to share. I cooked for just under 15 minutes and they turned out soft and tasty.
A reduced sugar light apple tort..great with cool whip free!
