Kefir is cultured milk. I'm not a big fan of it on its own, but I sometimes drink it with a drizzle of honey and it is downright delish in this smoothie! Great for breakfast, snack or dessert!
Yummy recipe I got from Better Homes and Gardens magazine. Best served over basmati rice.
Substitute low-fat or fat-free cheese and Healthy Request soup for lower cals and less fat (I didn't have it on hand this time).
Uses a light amount of Parmesan, for those who prefer a lighter Parmesan flavor.
This main dish can also be served as a side dish - just cut serving size in half. Goes great with chicken or fish!
