Delicious, almost decadent - great as is, with fruit, or as base for ice cream.
Use all organic ingredients for this peachy French-vanilla base ice-cream adapted from Paula Dean recipe. (This is a Treat, NOT a low calorie food!
A seasonal blessing, and Worth every calorie.
Uses the rich flavorful meat and broth of roasted leg of lamb - plus some higher carb veggies - for a hearty soup.
While all ingredients are technically Paleo compliant, this is still DESSERT! So enjoy responsible ;) for special occasions rather than at bedtime EVERY night.
Good served warm with vanilla-flavored Greek yogurt or homemade vanilla ice cream.
NOT a sweet bread! Slightly savory and great with salads.

leo-bread, this cocoa version makes some changes that Paleo purists won't appreciate: adding Nutrilite protein powder & Ghiradelli cocoa powder, and reduces eggs from five to two plus all-whites, changing honey to stevia. So, contains some 'processed' ingredients that I find very acceptable for my eating plan.
Many more veggies than meat, so gives a nice one-dish salad treat. Fresh raw veggies (and one apple) do increase the total carb:protein ratio, so if desiring a 'tighter' Paleo regimen, might want to add more chicken to increase protein/ serving.
Easy, quick, and delicious.

When you absolutely must have some divinely deep-dark chocolate -- Paleo or not!

Desperately wanting "breakfast" chocolate with real substance, but without artificial/ chemical sweeteners, refined & high-calorie sugars or syrups , refined white flour, or loads of coconut oil and butter.
The butter is included for nutritional calculation only because grains we used were cooked with butter :)

This is just a variation of the excellent recipe posted by CRAFTSNUT, for "Beef and Egglplant Stew," adapted for Crock-pot and our tastes. The different vegetables altered nutritional information.
Excellent Dip, or we used it atop salad greens for decadent and high-calorie salads. Serve with avocados, sour cream, blue corn tortillas or corn chips. NOT a low-calorie entree at ALL - so I'll simply ignore any snide remarks! Entered mainly so I can track the calories & decadence factor :)

This recipe was a splurge meal for Valentine's Day, merely put into the recipes for calorie calculation. Evaporated low fat milk is slightly lighter than using heavy cream, but still hardly a "diet' meal!
This is the adapted version of Central Market recipe to reduce the fat, cholesterol, calories, and cost.
Portion control -- eight servings (1.5 cups each)
rather than six (2 cups each) -- makes it more compatible with weight reduction as well. Paleo purists can use ghee rather than plain butter

A chili-spiced soup, brothy and flavorful with mushrooms, beans, and spinach, fairly high in protein yet low in fat. Great with organic whole wheat tortillas on a cold night.
So much better than what comes pre-packaged at the grocery.
