Recipes I've Shared:
A healthier version of the original hamburger cabbage rolls. You can substitute brown rice and egg substitute, but this is what I had.
Since all ingredients are cooked prior to assembling the rolls, you will only need to cook long enough to heat them through. I have put these in a crockpot to cook, but had to stack them and it was a bit difficult to heat them thoroughly without having to shuffle them around. Next time I will try them in the oven.
After my husband turned his nose up at every other recipe I tried, I finally sat down and made up my own. I have made it with ground turkey, but honestly it just wasn't the same in either texture or taste.
Quick main dish with hamburger, corn, and cornbread.
Recipe from my mom and something I have all the ingredients for. You can use less ground beef (this is the size my grocer sells) or substitute your own cornbread batter. I really put this in here so I can track my dinner tonight - ha ha!
Parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme season this chicken and noodle soup. Made in the crock pot with what I had on hand, this soup doesn't have a lot of liquid by the time it's done, but more water could always be added. Nutrition information for 8 servings is listed at the bottom of the directions.
One-dish meal with seafood, veggies, and pasta. Something my husband made up with items on hand.
