I start every morning with this along with 3 sections of Royal Gala apple. It sticks with me much longer than cereal and gives me my protein and calcium. Regular 1% Milk is what I used to use and works just as well.
Similar to a recipe already on here, but with applesauce substitute.
Substituting applesauce for butter or oil makes this bread extremely low calorie and very tasty. I make rolls out of this as well and they're always a hit! You can substitute sugar for honey. My original recipe called for milk powder, but I have substituted the coconut milk powder so it can be used by the lactose intolerant.
I haven't bought granola bars in the store since I started making these. The whole family loves them and we take them everywhere in case we need a quick snack.
