This bread is delicious for breakfast or as a snack. With the addition of flaxseed, it is especially good for you. It is a little high on fat and calories because it is made with real butter, but I don't use margarine since it is not good for you. You can substitute margarine or 1/2 C shortening for the butter.
This is a complete meal with a vegetable, protein, and grain. The chicken is prepared in the crockpot, beans in microwave and pasta on stovetop while chicken is cooking. Easy busy weeknight meal.
This is a high-protein, low-carb, low-fat salad that is great on a bed of lettuce or on a low-calorie sandwich round.
This smoothie is tart and delicious. There is no added sugar, just the natural sweetness from the berries. You can add sweetener if you desire; just remember to recalculate your nutrition info if you do.
This frittata uses fresh spinach and Egg Beaters. Delicious, easy, and fast!
