I havae made this and used 1/2 oatmeal and 1/2 brown rice. Makes a great fiber dish. I added the apple - nuts -dates - rasins - It is DELICIOUS.
I did not peal the apple as this adds fiber to the dish. It is still good ... like a bake apple.
