Nutrition & Calorie Comments

The burgers fell apart and made a mess out of my grill. Maybe if there was less cheese in them they would stick together better. They sounded yummy so I disappointed. Plus when you put them on a bun they are more calories. Submitted by:

I made this recipe with a low sodium packet of ranch. I didnt find it to be too salty as others have mentioned. I did not put the cheese in the burger but sauted onions and mushrooms and placed on the burger with a slice of cheddar on top. It was good, my 16yr old daughter loved it. Submitted by:

These are pretty good- definitely better than your run of the mill turkey-burger! They're full of flavor, but also, if made exactly as per the recipe, REALLY salty, even for a salt addict like me. Next time I'll either cut back on the ranch mix, or make my own seasoning. Submitted by:

These are REALLY GOOD! I topped it with spicy mustard and reduced sugar ketchup on a whole wheat bun! Submitted by:

DELICIOUS! Only thing changed was doing 1 1/4 c. ff shredded cheddar and no green onions. Fiance loved these and said, "You can make these again!" We topped with a little ketchup, tomato, lettuce, and onion. I used a 80 calorie wheat bun. May try grilling next time and just putting cheese on top. Submitted by:

This sounds good but it needs a homemade substitute for the ranch dressing packet, which is mostly salt.. Submitted by:

We really enjoyed these - we also only used half of the ranch dressing to reduce salt and put the cheese on top - but delish! Submitted by:

Yummy, but wrecked my sodium count for the day. Next time (and there WILL be a next time!) I will try less of the dressing to try to lower the sodium, or alter the rest of my meals to keep within my limits. Submitted by:

These are great but if your not too worried about calories, try adding a pack of real bacon bits to the mixture. It is awesome! Submitted by:

LOVE this recipe! No need to add those extra calories with a bun! I just cook them up and eat as is. My husband loves it, and even my children, who are picky eaters, love this recipe. I was just saying, after I had them for dinner tonight, that I'd rather have this burger than any other! Submitted by:

I think I'll make these tonight but not use a whole packet of ranch - sodium. I also like using a mix of other seasonings but I WILL try it with the ranch and cheese for sure!! Thanks!! ;o) Submitted by:

This has quickly become my go-to 'I feel like a burger' dinner. They are moist and flavorful. With the cheddar in the burger it forms this 'fried cheese' flavored crust. AMAZING! (I did makeover for this, but only because the turkey I buy is 1.25oz, and my cheese is not low fat) Try it!! Submitted by:

This was very good. I have had turkey burgers in the past and I have hated them, but we ate these two days in a row very deilicious. I gave it 4 more stars because I had a little more seasoning (black pepper, red pepper, seasoning salt) for flavor. Submitted by:

So good. Tons of flavour with very little fat and calories and lots of protein. We will definitely be making this again. We added a slice of turkey bacon to put a twist on your classic cheeseburger. Submitted by:

wow! just made this and it is so salty I dont know if I will be able to eat it. I have been watching my sodium count and It may be just because I so used to lower sodium. I would def. use 1/3 to 1/2 a packet next time!!! Submitted by:

The flavor in these burgers was great however it was a tad bit too salty which is why I didn't rate it a 5. Next time, I'll decrease on the amount of dry ranch. Submitted by:

To take this up a notch, I added some Bacon Bits (Low Sodium) to the mixture, also to avoid the cheese seeping out, I added it on at the end of cooking. This was quite possibly the best homemade burger I've ever had. Submitted by:

Loved, loved, loved this recipe! Was looking for an easy burger recipe to try with ground lamb - gave this one a try using lamb instead of turkey. It was awesome!! We are going to try it again next week with the ground turkey.

This recipe is absolutely delicious! Thank you so much for sharing! I don't eat beef and don't really like the taste of most meats, but I've been experimenting because I need more protein in my diet. I am looking forward to sharing these with my husband when he gets home! Submitted by:

LOVED THEM!! My husband says I can make them any time. They're so easy!! After having read some reviews that they were salty, I used the 0.4oz packet of dry ranch instead of the full oz. Still had great flavor! I added a little garlic powder to compensate and I put cheese on top instead of inside. Submitted by:
