Nutrition & Calorie Comments

I changed the recipe a bit. Added extra 1/4 c. mashed banana, 1/4 c. applesauce, 1/4 c. butter, 1/2 c. Splenda, 1/2 c. water. Increased baking time by 5 min. Used sugar free cream cheese frosting. 8 oz cream cheese, 1/2 c. butter, 1/3 c. Equal, 1/2 c. Splenda and 2 tsp vanilla Submitted by:

Based on the other comments I doubled the applesauce and used apple juice concentrate instead of the water and it turned out well. I was making the cake for a little boy who cannot have sugar, so instead of the whole wheat flour I used white flour for a lighter flavor. Will make again. Submitted by:

I made this cake for my father in law. It is his birthday and he is diabetic. He liked it very much. I tried it, it was a little dry but I put cool whip lite on it and it wasn't too bad. It wasn't sweet but that was the whole point of making it sugar free. Probably want try again though. Submitted by:
