Nutrition & Calorie Comments

This is good, although I like mine with a bit more kick to it. I used lowfat onion and chive cream cheese, but it sort of got absorbed and the flavor wasn't strong. Next time I would add onion powder and some other seasonings. Creamy and good though. Submitted by:

I was amazed that it was as good as all the hype. Everyone loved it. Slight changes: I used skinny chicken broth, instead of water, and used 2 full cups. I also added broccoli like some others. My family enjoyed their dinner over rice. I put mine over mashed cauliflower for a low carb option. Delish! Submitted by:

Made according to recipe, but had to add water, as it was salty. It was still very good. I served it with rice and broccoli as sides. I will make it again, and likely make extra for the freezer. Submitted by:

This was very easy and delicious! The changes I made were: Cream of Mushroom with Roasted Garlic soup, 4 oz. of the reduced fat cream cheese and I added two wedges of light spreadable cheese. I did have to add about half a cup of water to thin the sauce a bit to my liking. Submitted by:

It was great! My husband saw the recipe & was excited for me to make it. We used fat free cream cheese. We had it over brown rice. Yumm-o! Next time I will add some veggies. Definitely a keeper! Submitted by:

My husband and I LOVED this!!! I used neufchatel and Healthy Recipe soup to cut down on sodium. I also upped the water to 3/4 cup. It came out great. Will ABSOLUTELY make this again!!! Submitted by:

I am sure this is super as is but I had to add my twist too. Bagged, sundried tomatoes, a splash of white wine, fresh pressed garlic and coarse black pepper, 1/3 c Fat Free cream, Freshly caught dungeness crab and a touch of grated percorino romano and parsley to the top. Delicious. Submitted by:

I have made this recipe before, many times, using turkey and fat free cream cheese. My son loves it and wants it whenever he is home from college. Submitted by:

Does the nutrition info already include the rice? or do we add rice or pasta into our calorie counts separately? Submitted by:

This was DELICIOUS! The picky husband snarfed this down like he'd never eaten before in his life. I actually swapped the chicken for lean pork and the cream cheese for fat free Greek yogurt, and it was BOMB! Thanks for sharing your recipe!!! Submitted by:

This was delicious! My husband, 6-& 3-year olds had seconds! I used a greek yogurt/cream cheese (in brick form) that I discovered the other day. It had even less cals and fat than the RF cream cheese and was just as tasty in this dish. I also used a homemade cream soup. Next time I will add vegs Submitted by:

I really am aware of the sodium I take in. We need more "from scratch" recipes on this site that take that into account. This has half a day's sodium. not for me! Submitted by:
