This was delicious! My husband, 6-& 3-year olds had seconds! I used a greek yogurt/cream cheese (in brick form) that I discovered the other day. It had even less cals and fat than the RF cream cheese and was just as tasty in this dish. I also used a homemade cream soup. Next time I will add vegs Submitted by:

I really am aware of the sodium I take in. We need more "from scratch" recipes on this site that take that into account. This has half a day's sodium. not for me! Submitted by:

Made it according to the recipe and it was very good. I would suggest not adding any salt to the rice, it made the dish a little salty according to my husband. Submitted by:

Cant figure out why the cholesterol count is so hi? I used the full fat version of cream of chicken soup which has 10 mg. per serving and the light cream cheese which has 20mg. Submitted by:

Does anyone know what size the pack of italian dressing is? I live in Australia and we don't have that brand. Is it a big bottle or a single serve package? And is fat-free italian dressing a good substitue? Submitted by:

i used what i had in my pantry and it still came out great. i used fat free cream of mushroom and taco dressingmix instead of italian dry seasoning. i also added broccolli and served over rice. i had to make myself stop eating out of the pot!! Submitted by:

Save calories & carbs: we make this all the time & i eat it over veggies....spaghetti squash, cooked zuccini, or roasted cauliflower will do nicely! Submitted by:

Thanks for posting this recipe with the "lighter" option with the nutritional info as I had no clue that this was actually pretty healthy! Highly recommend this dish to everyone! 2 thumbs up!!! This was wonderful. The only thing I changed was to add some sliced red peppers and it tasted like the jarred red pepper alfredo sauce we used to buy, only with a fraction of the fat and a ton more flavor. A+! Submitted by:

It wasn't bad, I think next time I might use no yolk egg noodles and try 1/3rd less fat cream cheese. Maybe even more italian seasoning! It just didn't have a lot of flavor to it, but it was good enough that I will try it again with some tweaks to my families taste. :) Submitted by:
