Nutrition & Calorie Comments

This is a nice recipe, just omit the salt and add juice of half a lime and 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes. Slices of avocado would finish it off just right. Submitted by:

Cut chicken into strips, omit the salt and add juice of 1/2 lime to create a marinade and let it sit at least an hour. Grill the chicken [no oil] with onion slices and pepper strips. Submitted by:

I would omit the salt, reduce the chicken and oil by at least half or just spray or spritz the pan with olive oil, add green pepper strips, and simmer all in about 1/2 c of beer. Use whole wheat tortillas as the wrap, top with shredded lettuce, salsa, and low fat Sargento's 4 cheese mexican cheese. Submitted by:

I used 3.2 oz of the chicken mixture and 1 T. salsa for each tortillas and it makes 10 servings of 1 tortilla each. I deleted the salt totally, not needed for people with HBP. We need better tasting corn tortillas in our area, otherwise it was very good. Wonder if you could add green peppers, etc Submitted by:

Squeezing a lime (or lemon) wedge over the finished meal can help prevent the need for the salt. Slicing part of an avocado over the fajita can add healthy fats (in moderation). I love fajitas. Submitted by:

Great flavor. Not sure if the nutritional info is correct. The chicken breasts I'm using from Costco have more cholesterol for a single serving. Submitted by:

Needs veggies ...onions, peppers, tomatoes. Fat free sour cream is a good choice Submitted by:

I've made this but had to change the ingredients and tweak it a bit. I used an olive oil spray instead of all that oil and NO salt. Experiment with spices (esp. chili) and you won't need the salt. I used a whole wheat wrap instead of the tortilla and salsa instead of sour cream. Submitted by:

Too much salt and not enough veggies. I'm not a fan of corn tortillas, althought I know they're healthier than the wheat tortillas. Submitted by:
