As is, this recipe is good. The chicken is so moist! But I agree that it needs some extra kick. I would definitely add brown sugar to really bring the flavor of the apples up a notch! Submitted by:

A bit bland at first, We used walnuts instead of almonds. I heated up some apples and chopped walnuts with a dash of brown sugar. I used this as a topping which made it taste much better. Even my kids liked it. Submitted by:
