This bread was absolutely WONDERFUL!!! I will definitely be making this one again!! It turned out beautifully just the way it is!! I have also made it by substituting applesauce for the oil and it didn't change the outcome. Lower fat and again, amazing! Thank you RoryJo for submitting. Kids love Submitted by:

Made these this AM with some subs applesauce for the egg, buttermilk, splenda for the sugar. Made it into muffins they didn't rise very well (maybe I had old baking powder/soda) but they still tasted great just very small. Will make again. Submitted by:

Would using egg beaters, non-fat milk, and whole wheat flour change the calories much? Also could a partial substitution on the oil with flax seed work on the bread? How would it alter the nutritional content? Submitted by:

I wonder what the fat content is if you remove the nuts? Looks like a great recipe. My oven is preheating now! Submitted by:

Quick prep time, and delicious! To make this even healthier (less fat, no cholesterol) I used Ener-G Egg Replacer instead of the egg and replaced half the oil with applesauce. Thanks for sharing the recipe! Submitted by:
