Nutrition & Calorie Comments

How about instead of a fried egg a 3 or 6 Tbsp egg white omelette? Instead or regular cheese, veggie cheese (like the Go Veggie products)?
I bet we can lower the sodium and carbs and it will taste great as well! How much would be the total calorie and Fat & sodium count??
No butter for me Please!

Who needs a fried egg with grilled cheese? More cholesterol and calories! Submitted by:

The French call this "Croque Madam," and it is delicious. The sodium can be cut down by using Ezekiel low sodium bread (0 sodium) and buying Trader Joes low sod. creamy tomato soup (1 c = 140 mg sodium, 90 calories). For someone on VERY limited salt/calories, this is a wonderful tasty option. TY! Submitted by:

I decided to make this with a sandwich thin, 80 calorie munster cheese slices, and Smart Balance. Only 335 calories. I could drop the calorie count a bit with a few minor changes (lighter bread, egg whites, thin sliced cheese). Submitted by:

If I substitute a thin slice of lean ham for the egg, how many extra calories will this incur? Submitted by:

Way too high in sodium, fat, calories and cholesterol to even try. And never found tomato soup for 25 calories Submitted by:

I cut the butter in half, reducing the fat and sodium. I also tried it with caramelized onions for more of a flavour punch. However, you can't add soup and be under 400 Cal.s Submitted by:
