I loved this , but not for a spread. I did not have regular cider on hand so I used no sugar added packed of instant cider. I was not sure it would work, but It still thickened because of the apple. Used with my yogurt to create a parfait . Submitted by:

This is an excellant recipe. You can also put it on cottage cheese, in place of apple butter. Makes a low calorie snack, or side salad. Delicious!!! Thanks. Submitted by:

This sounds really good, I love pumpkin pie! I will try it by micro-waving the apple for one minute WITH the peel, then process the apple first before cooking. I micro-wave apples all the time, tastes like pie without added sugar. I have not heard of an immersion blender, what is it? Submitted by:
