Wow what a delicious soup! I didnt add milk as i like my soups thick - instead added a few dolops of low fat sour cream also added broccolli the first time as i was running low on spinach! Preferred using less spinach version. A hit with the whole family so i have to make a couple of batches a week Submitted by:

Good, but is very time intensive. I added 1T of Tasbasco, parsley, and used 2c. low sodium chicken broth and 2c. low sodium vegetable broth instead of the water. Also, 2c. nonfat milk rather than 2%.
Doesn't seem worth the effort.

I will use low sodium, fat free chicken broth to lower the sodium in this recipe. I will also use red potatoes and leave the skins on for 2 reasons - my family loves the skins (on red potatoes they are tender and yummy and that is where a lot of the vitamins and nutruents are. Thanks for the recipe! Submitted by:

I really liked this soup! Even though it looks like a bubbling swamp. I used a box of frozen spinach, and 6 oz of chicken breast. I made it without the cornstarch. And it made 8 cups. So I figured it out as 8 servings. 106 calories. And, great on the nutrition. Thanks. Submitted by:
