Nutrition & Calorie Comments

I agree with Steveiecat4. You look like my cat Kenya. What is all the fuss about the 16 calories of sugar. I just added champagne to the orange juice I didn't add up the calories because I do Aerobics 5 nights a week and a cycling class on the weekend. and I eat right. So Cheers :)

My mom used to make this for me when I was sick as a kid. Instead of the club soda tho we use ginger ale or 7up, and no sugar added. I now make this for my boys when they are sick or me for a just because.

Fake sugar gives me a blasting headache, so I used my own sugar syrup. I used orange essence sparkling water instead of club soda. Very, very tasty! Submitted by:

Splendid! I left out the sugar. I don't care about the calories; it was sweet to my taste. I'm making this for company in a couple of week with different juices and Canada Dry Green Tea ginger ale for a breakfast or pick me up drink. Submitted by:

We do this for our daughter (similar) with diet gingerale and no sugar for when her allergies are really bad. Sometimes I will freeze strawberries in ice to make it fancy. She thinks she is getting a treat but it helps with the nausea from her allergies (phlem) and gives her a boost of Vit C~ Submitted by:

I've been doing something similar - just a fruit juice and plain sparkling water. It gives me that fizzy soda sensation with little sugar. I might try the version in the recipe for the popsicles. Submitted by:

I too would use sparkling water instead of club soda to save on calories and sodium content. I doubt I would add sugar too. Another option ( an alcohol free mimosa) would be to use sparkling grape juice, though that would raise calories. Submitted by:
