Good recipe overall... We like saucy food so we doubled the recipe for sauce and we added ginger. it definitely needs the low sodium broth and soy sauce our it is too salty. We also thickened the sauce with corn starch. Submitted by:

The calorie count for this recipe cannot possibly be correct. The recipe calls for 3 POUNDS of chicken breasts, and serves 8 people. That's approx 6 oz per person. There are approx 30 cals in 1 oz of BSCB.
My figures are more like 250-280 cals per 1/8th of the recipe.

It came out too salty for my taste. Also, the chicken was overdone and dry after cooking in my Rival Crockpot for 4.5 hours on the low setting. Submitted by:
