Nutrition & Calorie Comments

Didn't have 'healthy' mushroom soup or reduced fat sour cream but used what I had & was delicious. Went very slightly above my sodium goal for the day & stayed within fat content goal as other meals were very low in fat. Submitted by:

This was AMAZING!! Not sure how anyone could call it bland! I doubled & added a good sprinkling of onion powder, paprika, and onion powder, used one can of the 98% fat free cream of mushroom and one reg. (all I had on hand), & served it over no yolk egg noodles. I will be making this OVER AND OVER! Submitted by:

The serving size was good so I was surprised at the calories but you need to add in calories for the pasta you put it on so that increases it a bit but I still think it is worth the calories. Submitted by:

This was good and both the kids ate it too. I made these changes: 1 lb. lean ground beef
1 tsp garlic powder
+ can golden mushroom soup
6 tbsp of lowfat evaporated milk instead of sour cream

I had to use the evaporated milk b/c my sour cream had gone bad and I was out of milk : o Still good!

I enjoyed this meal; It was fast and easy. I substituted the sour cream for fat free greek yogurt and ground turkey for beef. I would make it again. Submitted by:

We loved this recipe especially for the ability to make changes for your particular tastes. I doubled the recipe and used 1 can of 98% fat-free cream of mushroom soup, I can of Golden Mushroom soup and added 1 Tbp. of Worchestershire Sauce. I served it over wheat pasta. Really yummy! Submitted by:

I substituted some left over lean roast beef. About 1 cup shredded. I'm not sure what that would do to the calories, but it was very good! Submitted by:

I made a few minor tweaks to this recipe and it came out great. I left out the soup and mushrooms. I also used 1 cup of fat free nonfat yogurt instead of the sour cream and increased the garlic powder, used a whole onion and fat free chicken broth and cooked a whole wheat pasta in the sauce. Great Submitted by:
