Nutrition & Calorie Comments

Excellent! Great for a snack or post workout. Adjustments: 1% milk + 1/2 tsp of vanilla. Added 1/4 cup of unsalted sunflower seeds, 1/4 cup of Hershey's Dark Choc. Chips & 1/4 Cherry Craisins. Used a cookie sheet for correct thickness. Be sure to adjust nutrition for additions! Submitted by:

I made a variation of this & it was better than any store bought granola bar, I substituted the maple syrup for calorie free brown sugar & the rolled oat flour with whole wheat pancake mix, put sliced almonds & dried cranberries, create your own flavors ! They are delicious ! Submitted by:

Yum! Really easy and fast recipe. I spread peanut butter on these after cooking for a little more protein, then chilled them in the fridge. They were pretty irresistible. Next time I'm making them with mini chocolate chips! Submitted by:

Sounds good, but 6 grams of sugar is WAY too much in one serving! Submitted by:

These were good but I will just probably buy my granola bars for the same calories and I enjoy them more. Submitted by:

These were wonderful. I used nonfat milk and added vanilla. I am coming up with all kinds of idea for things to add. YUMMY!! Thanks! Submitted by:

IS THERE A WAY TO MAKE THEM WITH LESS CARBS?
MAYBE LEAVE OUT THE COCONUT?

Love these but had to add dried cranberries. Not Craisins since there's added sugar but naturally dried. Fabulous! Submitted by:

I made this today and really liked it, and it's easy! I look at the granola bars in the supermarket and cringe at the salt and chemicals. I omitted the salt and added raisins. I do wish I had left them in the oven for another 5 minutes, I'd like them a bit crunchier. I'll try that next time. Submitted by:

There's a really funny ep. of the Canadian show, Corner Gas, where the Dufus Police Chief & his deputy decide to get healthy & replace their daily doughnuts w/low-fat zucchini muffins. Unfortunately, they're too clever for their own good & decide to enhance the recipe w/ choc chips, butter, etc. Submitted by:

These sound very good. I will trying these in the future. I am surprised at some who are adding more calories and sugar to this recipe. I thought the whole idea was to make things more healthy. Submitted by:
