Nutrition & Calorie Comments

Delicious! Definitely a keeper! Dense, tasty bread . . slices well, great toasted. We added 1/2 tsp yeast. Substituted honey with 1/3 c. + 1.5 T granulated sugar and 1.5 T applesauce. Thanks for the recipe! Submitted by:

Made this last night. I added 1 Tbs of flax meal to the mix. I put it on the Dough setting, baked it in 2 bread pans at 350 for 30 minutes; then cooled it in the pan. It's sweet and moist, a definite keeper!
Question: Have you tried making it with milk (for extra nutrition) instead of water?
