My boyfriend baked this for my birthday today and added blue food colouring for fun. The cake was very sweet (will try less sugar next time). He wasn't fuss about the almond flavour but I liked it. The cake turned out very well, but it was a bit sweeter than I expected. Also 20 servings from this cake is a stretch. All in all, I made it for my 2 year old's bday and everyone enjoyed it w/ strawberries and fat free reddi whip. Submitted by:
