Nutrition & Calorie Comments

I made these tonight & they came out pretty good. Instead of bread crumbs, I used oat bran which has about the same amt of calories more fiber. Used 100% whole wheat sandwich thins instead of buns, some spicy mustard, ketchup & spinach on top. Non-stick spray & wheat flour to coat. ;o) Submitted by:

Tasty. Made them today for lunch. A little crumbly but put a slice of low fat cheese on them to hold them together and they rocked! Thanks! Submitted by:

Just wanted to mention that canned black beans should always be rinsed because of the high sodium content. I love black beans and this was great! Submitted by:

I haven't tried these yet but if you use canned beans, I recommend draining and rinsing to get rid of the salt.

I make these all the time but I've tweaked the recipe a bit. I omit the bread crumbs and flour and just refridgerate the mix for an hour so it stays together better. I also use spray olive oil on a griddle and cook them that way and they never stick! Low fat mexican cheese and salsa for toppings! Submitted by:

I made these and think that they are great. The only thing that I done different was that I sprayed my cooking stone with fat free spray and placed the pattys in the oven to cook for 25 minutes at 350 degrees. I let them cool, and placed them in the freezer to freeze in single layers for future. Submitted by:

This was yummy. I added pepperjack cheese, salsa, and ate it on a kaiser roll. I would have preferred a wheat bun but the store was all out! I think it needed just a little salt or more flavor, but all in all, delish! Submitted by:

I love the flavor and the fact that you can get great tasting protein w/o all the fat but they were kind of hard to make. I should have read the reviews first and added egg. I will next week! The whole family loved them! Submitted by:
