This is the tastiest taco soup I've ever had!!! Even my husband liked it!! I replaced black beans instead of pinto, I also lefted
out the corn for a lower carb. I will definitely make this again.

I made this soup with Alton Brown's Taco Potion #19 (with 1 tsp. of salt, not 2), one diced jalapeno instead of canned chiles, and whole corn instead of creamed corn. I omitted the ranch packet. It was DELICIOUS!!!!! Submitted by:

Loved this! I made it with ground chicken andused 2 cans of diced tomatoes with no sodium added and a can of Rotel instead of the original. So, so good, my mom even asked for the recipe! Submitted by:

I have made this twice now and it has been a major hit both times. The only thing I did differently was use Ground Turkey instead of Ground Beef. Lowers the calories a bit and you can't tell the difference. We also added tortilla strips on top that you find in the salad isle at the grocery. Submitted by:

I substituted turkey for beef (significant calorie savings)and made dry pinto beans for the soup.
I added chicken stock and it yielded 11- 1 cup servings.

we enjoyed this and used ground turkey to lessen the calories. Doubled the recipe but only used one packet of ranch/taco seasoning to keep sodium down. Whole family enjoyed it :) Submitted by:

I LOVE this recipe. I've made 3 batches of it and my fiance and I can't get enough. I don't put all 3 cans of beans in -- too much for us. I've used ground chicken and fat free chicken broth twice and the taste is still amazing. I also add lots of hot sauce!! I definitely recommend this. Submitted by:

WOW! This was so good! The perfect meal to keep me warm. I used ground turkey because I don't eat beef. I also sprinkled reduced fat shredded cheese on top. The beans make this very filling. Thanks for sharing. Submitted by:

Very good although could use some richness. I will add a little low fat sour cream for each serving or perhaps a tiny sprinkle of 2% cheese. Submitted by:
