the chicken broth probably added all that sodium. I made my own and didn't add salt. Don't know what the count is on it now. Submitted by:

My mother always made the stuffing for Thanksgiving. She also used two sticks of butter. This year I made the stuffing without all the fat. I also did not use the mushroom, my sons do not like their texture. It was still a great recipe.
