This is similar to my Grandma D's recipe. She and I use the old grinder, make sure it's 2 granny smith apples and add 1 cup of pecans. I use stevia instead of sugar. Submitted by:

I have been looking for a recipe like this for quite awhile. It was a little too tart...and I like tart! Had to add a couple of additional tablespoons of sugar. Maybe, it's one of those things you have to adjust according to the sweetness/tartness of your ingredients. Submitted by:
