I will make a batch of this at the beginning of the week and add onto salads, pitas, side dishes etc. (in addition to the chicken and salsa, I'll variably throw in a bag of frozen veggies, black beans, chopped green chiles etc.) Top with a spoonful of non-fat greek yogurt instead of sour cream. I make a very similar dish but sauté chicken, mushrooms and onions on the stove, add in a large jar of Chi Chi salsa and chili powder to taste. Excellent served in warm soft tortilla shells with cheddar cheese and fat free sour cream. Submitted by:

I stirred in 2 tbsp. of low fat sour cream to make sort of a sauce. Also, the directions don't mention it, but it's best if you layer the chicken breasts and taco seasoning, then pour the salsa over the top of everything. You can even use the chicken breasts frozen, for busy mornings. Submitted by:

This recipe was super fast, super easy and delicious.Only cooked it for 7hours. served it on whole wheat tortillas, lettuce, reduced fat sour cream, tomato and taco sauce. Husband and son could not get enough. Guess who isnt making taco soup!! Submitted by:

Like others here, I add black beans and corn, and this recipe is always a hit! We serve it wrapped in wheat tortillas with lettuce and low fat sour cream and low fat cheese. My family LOVES it, and I love that it's super easy to prepare, tastes delicious, and gets some veggies into my picky kids! Submitted by:

This was outstanding! This could also be used as the base for chicken nachos which is what I did! I added shredded lettuce, light sour cream, chopped tomatoes, chopped red onion, fat free refried beans, and fat free shredded mexican cheese and it was delicious! Thanks for this recipe! Submitted by:
