I did not have any honey or white vinegar, so I used red wine vinegar and a little less sugar than 2 tablespoons. I also added a splash of white wine. Marinated for 2 hrs, and then made chicken fried steak with eye of round steaks, with simple country gravy. It was delicious. Submitted by:

This was very very good, and I agree with the comment about calories. A nice 3 oz eye of round steak has only 173 calories, so I'm not at all sure how the calorie count got so high. Anyway, excellent marinade and it tasted great! Submitted by:
