A nice option for a hot veggie. Quite bland when prepared exactly as directed. I added vegetable bouillon powder, salt, and back pepper. A flavoured oil, like olive, might also be nice. Submitted by:

I've been making fried cabbage for a long time. I used to do it in butter or oil and then found Pam Butter Flavored spray, this really cuts back on the calories and tastes vitually the same!! I love it!! Submitted by:

I make this all the time! But I add celery and sometimes a little spaghetti. Makes a nice low-calorie veggie! I use the sliced cole slaw mix in the bag when I find it cheap instead of having to shred my own cabbage and it includes shredded carrots too! Submitted by:

I used to cook this with bacon. Cook bacon save 2 tbls. of bacon grease put in cabbage and cook cover skillet. . Put salt and pepper to season. Submitted by:
