This recipe sounds amazing and I can't wait to try it. I have some concerns about the nutrition information provided, however. I am looking at the label on a Guinness can, and it appears it was entered wrong, actually getting 19 cal less per serving than listed, sodium amount seems wrong as well. Submitted by:

Nice and hearty. Made a double batch, added only 2 cans of Guinness. Left out parsnips. Didn't list how much water- added 900ml carton of beef broth, but it does need another 45 mins simmering. Brown sugar was too sweet- only needs 1/2 the amount. Bays leaves & thyme were good additions Submitted by:
