Nutrition & Calorie Comments

This is really a delicious cake to make, unfortunately I only took a very small taste of it, my family enjoyed it because the carbs a little too high for me in being diabetic. Submitted by:

Made this for dessert last night. I'm the only one gluten free and all four of us really enjoyed it. I didn't have egg substitute on hand so I used a total of 4 eggs. I sprinkled powdered sugar on top and then added fresh raspberries and drizzled with a few melted chocolate chips. Submitted by:

I want to try this, but too much sugar for me. Has anyone tried this with Stevia in the raw instead of sugar? Submitted by:

This recipe sounds interesting, but I am confused that the recipe says it makes 8 servings, but the calorie calc is for 12 servings. If you make this cake into 8 serving the calories per serving would be more like 380. Submitted by:

From all of the comments, I will surely try this one! I love chickpeas anyway and there is so much fiber in them. Never thought of using them in a cake! Submitted by:

This is a great recipe for those that are intolerant to dairy and gluten...can't wait to make this for my sister!
I will use Smart Balance Mayo, it tastes as good as regular,it's actually good for you, and will help with the cholesterol and calories.

Wonder if you could use canola mayo ???? That would lower calories and cholesterol, but hate to waste the chocolate on an experiment ... anybody out there know??? Submitted by:

It sounds good, & only 1 Weight Watcher points for 1/8 of this recipe. I suppose, that sometimes, for variety, I could use Fiber One Original Bran cereal instead of chickpeas. I will definately try this! Submitted by:
