We made these rather than throwing out the edible greens when we bought beets. We left out the water, sugar, and vinegar and just sauteed the greens after cooking the onion, garlic and bacon. Submitted by:

I used bacon fat but put lean stew mean in that I sauteed first, shaved the garlic and it was deeeelish! First time I ate beet greens and they were good I will try this with kale. I also used chipotle ground pepper instead of crushed red pepper. Submitted by:
