Ingredients

    1 8-oz package of light cream cheese
    5 tbsp unsalted butter
    2 tsp vanilla extract
    2 cups powdered sugar

Directions

Allow your butter to sit out and soften, then add to vanilla in a medium bowl. Use cream cheese directly from the fridge--so that it's hard, but not rock-solid-- and blend with butter/vanilla. Once it is smoothly mixed, add sugar a half cup at a time. Two cups should be almost perfect, but taste and add a bit more sugar to reach the flavor/consistency that you want.

Makes about 45 tbsp servings.
