Tina's Pico de Gallo

Introduction

Yummy fresh salsa! Yummy fresh salsa!
Number of Servings: 15

Ingredients

    5-6 plum tomatoes, coursely chopped and de-seeded
    1 c. red onion, coursely chopped
    1/4 c. green bell pepper, chopped
    1/4 c. yellow bell pepper, chopped
    1/4 c. red bell pepper, chopped
    1/4 c. orange bell pepper, chopped
    2 T. chopped cilantro, fresh
    1/4 c. jarred jalapenos, finely chopped (or use 2-4 fresh jalapenos - adjust to taste)
    1 large or 2 small cloves garlic, finely chopped or pressed
    Juice of two limes
    1/2 t. chili powder (or to taste)
    1 t. or so of cumin (to taste)

Directions

Simply prepare all vegetables as indicated and mix/blend well. This is even better the next day, after all of the flavors have "married" -- just give it a stir, and serve with baked or regular (or even better, homemade) tortilla chips!! YUM!!!
