1/4 cup milk
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
3 Tbsp vegetable oil
1 cup wheat barley crunchy cereal
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup raisins & dates
1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tsp vanilla
Combine in a mixing bowl the milk, salt, baking powder, cereal, vegetable oil and wheat flour. Add eggs and beat hard for 1 minute. Add raisins & dates & vanilla; beat. Add chocolate chips.
Spoon into muffin pans and bake 400 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Do not overbake. Makes 12 muffins.
