Basic Tomato Sauce

Ingredients

    1/3 c. onions
    1 TBS chopped garlic
    1 28 oz. can whole tomatoes (no sugar or additives - Italian versions are the purest)
    2 TBS olive oil
    Oregano and Basil and Salt to Taste

Directions

SautÚ onions, garlic, and oil
Add tomatoes and salt and spices
Cut and or crush tomatoes in pan
Cook for one hour minimum, more if you want it to cook down
If you like it chunky, serve as is.
If not, pureÚ in a blender or processor.

*Add black olives for more flavor, but also added fat!
