2 tsp Whipped Butter
1 c onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
8 c halved and thinly sliced Brussels Sprouts (about 1 1/2 lb)
1 1/2 TBSP sugar
1/2 tsp Sea Salt (recipe calls for regular salt)
8 tsp coarsely chopped pecans, toasted
Now, of course, you can make substitutions for the butter, sugar and salt, if you desire.
2. Add onion and garlic; saute 4 minutes or until lightly browned.
3. Stir in Brussels Sprouts; saute 2 minutes.
4. Add broth and sugar; cook 5 minutes or until liquid almost evaporates, stirring frequently.
5. Stir in salt. Sprinkle with pecans.
Yield: 8 servings (2/3 c per serving)
