Jennywren93's pure fruit smoothie

Submitted by: JENNYWREN93

Introduction

I make this for my kids all the time and they just love it! I use my Ninja master prep- but you could use a blender. I make this for my kids all the time and they just love it! I use my Ninja master prep- but you could use a blender.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

1 -20 oz pkg frozen strawberries (unsweetened)- FROZEN
1 cup small berries (FROZEN) I use a mix of raspberries, blackberries and blueberries- this is your choice
    2 T flax seed meal
3 cups OJ (frozen canned, prepared with 4 cans water instead of 3- this adjustment not taken into nutritional info acct)

Directions

put strawberries, then small frozen fruit, then flax meal, then oj into blender or Ninja and process until smooth. adjust liquid for desired consistancy.

*I will add a banana as well (unfrozen) if I have in the house. Any frozen fruit makes a good smoothie. Because it is frozen, there is no need for ice, so it isn't watered down. we have used frozen peaches, etc as well. Play and have fun with this! someone told me to add fresh spinach (a small handful) to up the nutritional value as well... will be trying that soon!
