Introduction

Ingredients

    10 Slices of Bacon
    1 lb of lean ground beef mixed with 1 large egg
    1/4 tsp of salt
    1/4 tsp of lemon pepper seasoning
    1 4 oz can of mushroom stems and pieces, drained and chopped
    3 TBSP finely chopped pimiento-stuffed olives
    2TBSP finely chopped onion
    2 TBSP finely chopped green pepper

Directions

1. In a very large skillet partially cook bacon just until lightly browned, but still soft. Drain on paper towels. Set Aside

2. On waxed paper pat ground beef to a 12x7.5 inch rectangle that is 1/4 inch thick. Sprinkle with salt and lemon pepper; top with Parmesian cheese. Combine mushrooms, olives, onion, and sweet pepper; sprinkle evenly over meat. Lightly press mixture into meat.
3. Starting from a short side, carefully roll meat into a spiral. Cut into 1 1/2 inch slices. Wrap the edge of each slice with two trips of partially cooked bacon, overlapping as needed and securing ends with wooden picks.
4. For a charcoal grill, grill meat slices on the rack of an uncovered grill directly over medium coals about 20 minutes or until meat is done. (160 F), turning once halfway through grilling. For a gass grill, preheat grill, reduce heat to medium, place meat slices on the grill rack over heat, cover and grill as above. Makes 5 servings.
