Cheddar-Garlic Grits

Introduction

Delicious easy breakfast. Great for a cold morning. Start the water and get the grits cooking while you prep everything else.

If you want less calories, cut the pan into 12 servings.

Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    4 cups water
    1 cup quick grits
    1 tsp salt
    2 lg eggs
    1/2 cup milk
    1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
    1/2 cup butter
    1/2 tsp garlic powder
    paprika

Directions

Heat oven to 325.

Start the water boiling and add grits. Cook on low about 4 minutes stirring occasionally.

While grits are cooking, beat eggs and add milk. Add to cooked grits.

Stir in cheese and butter until both are melted. Stir in garlic powder.

Pour into sprayed 9x13 pan and bake approximately 20 minutes.

Sprinkle with paprika. Serve hot!
