Introduction

If you can't stomach the thought of margarine but can't stand the saturated fat of butter, this is a healthier alternative for you. If you can't stomach the thought of margarine but can't stand the saturated fat of butter, this is a healthier alternative for you.
Number of Servings: 96

Ingredients

    1 1/2 cup butter
    1/2 cup olive oil
    1/2 cup vegetable oil

Directions

Blend all ingredients until smooth and then transfer to a container and keep in fridge. If using salted butter it will keep pretty much forever.

  • I love this. It is great for cooking since it has a high smoking temperature. Try it on toasted dark bread. I make one similar with 1 lb. salted butter & 2.5 cups (1/2 olive oil & 1/2 vegetable oil). Freezes great! - 9/16/10
