Sesame Teriyaki Venison Stir-Fry

Ingredients

    1 lb. venison, sliced thin
    2 tbsp. wok oil, divided
    6 tbsp. Tastefully Simple Sesame Teriyaki Sauce, divided
    1/4-1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes
    2 large stalks celery, roughly chopped
    1 medium red sweet bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
    2 medium carrots, julienned
    3 cups (about 7 oz) chopped bok choy
    1 medium summer (yellow) squash, julienned
    1 tsp. water
    1 tsp. cornstarch

Directions

Combine sliced venison with 2 tablespoons Sesame Teriyaki sauce; marinate, covered, in refrigerator for 1 hour.

Heat 1 tbsp. wok oil in wok over high heat. Add marinated venison and red pepper flakes. Stir-fry until meat is browned; remove from pan with juices and set aside. Wipe wok clean.

Add remaining 1 tbsp. wok oil into wok and heat over high heat. Add celery and red bell pepper; stir-fry 2 minutes. Add carrots; stir-fry 2 minutes. Add bok choy, squash and venison; stir-fry 2 minutes. Add remaining 4 tbsp. Sesame Teriyaki sauce and stir to coat.

Push vegetables and meat up onto sides of wok, leaving liquid in center. In small bowl, combine water and cornstarch. Stir into liquid in center of wok until thickened. Coat vegetables/meat mixture with thickened sauce and serve over rice or noodles.
