3 cups uncooked Lentils
1 large Onion chopped
2 Carrots chopped
1 cup Celery chopped
1 Green Pepper chopped
2 cans Tomato Soup
1 Tbls blackstrap Molasses
1/4 tsp Oregano
3 tsp Curry powder
2 pkg. George Washington Seasoning (golden)
1 tsp Salt (optional & not included in nutritional calculations)
1. Bring 5.5 cups of water to a boil and cook: lentils, onion, carrot, celery, and pepper till done (for about 40-45 minutes.)
2. Add other ingredients; stir and simmer 5-10 minutes.
Very healthy and filling along with a green salad and rice or a whole grain bread.
